Hi all,
I installed openbsd 3.5 on pentium III 700 to use it as master installation for a firewall. After installation I proceed to updating: since the pathes were about 20, I decided to upgrade the system to 3.5 stable from source.
On pruduction machine (the actual firewall), after the basic installation (without compiler), I would copy the new kernel and the updated binary system files, but I don't know which of these were modified after "make build" from /usr/src. If another patch come out, I would like to install/compile it just on my master firewall, then copy the new affected binary on my actual firewall.
Cuold anyoune explain me which is the best way to update from master to production machine ? Which files I have to copy after patch/upgrade-to-stable installation ?
Are there automatic utilities to make this issue?
Thank you very much
Renato
