Is it possible to add a column to an Impromptu catalog without being connected to the data source?
We need to do this. We have no way to connect to the data source since its on another network and a database that we have no ODBC driver for. Even if we had the driver it is incompatible with other drivers we have on our machines.

Not that I know of - without a connection, the tables and folders button is greyed out.
How about creating an identical Database on a local machine or source, doing the update, then changing the database the Catalogue points to in the Tables section?

Another solution might be to utilize OLE/COM and programmatically maintain the catalog via a VB program or VBS script...
