update folder to e-mail folder from webreport

does anyone know if there is any way to update folder type from webreport/livereport? I would like to update a regular folder to e-mail folder. I tried the update statement, for example, update dtree set subtype = 751 where dataid = xxxxx; but nothing happens to the regular folder.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try the response posted in the KB. As a general rule manipulating the database will lead to extreme data integrity problems.if you know Oscript one can look at a create email folder command and see how about changing that for email folder
