Hello!

I'm looking for a way to link the values of a F2 Lookup to a field. The idea is that when F2 Lookup values get changed, the corresponding entries in the database fields are also get updated.

Example:
In the "Industry" field, i've entered the F2 value "Engineering". Say, I want to change the F2 lookup to "Engineering Services". How does all my contacts get updated with the new value?

I appreciate your help.
Mathias.

You can't do this in GoldMine automatically without some extra programming work.

You would have to create a filter.

Industry = Engineering

Then do a global replace on those records.

I understand that there is a SDK to customize Goldmine.
Any experience with this SDK? i.e. based on your experence, does it provide the functions you need to customize Goldmine to your needs?

Regars,
Mathias
