Here is what we are trying to do. We have a Excel document (timesheets.xls) and a Word document (timesheet stats.doc). Now when we in put data into the excel spreadsheet we would like to have the word document updated also. I think I need to run a macro but am not sure. Can this be done and if so can someone help with our delima.

THanks

Ivan

You can use paste special to link the two documents. Simply copy the data from Excel and when pasting into Word click on Edit and Paste Special. You then need to click the option button for Paste Link and highlight Microsoft Excel Worksheet object.

chevy,

Out of curiosity, why are you doing the stats in Word? Wouldn't it be easier to keep everything in Excel?

Regardless, best of luck!
Tim
