Update date within datetime field

I am looking to update a table to set the date in a date/time field without affecting the time.. Is there a simple way to do this?

Example, I have a table that shows DTS = 06/21/81 03:12:09
I want to change that to show 04/30/08 03:12:09.

There are an unknown number of records I want to change like this.
