Hello,

I usually do not modify reports, however, I have been asked to modify a report which uses a dll file as a database/table. When the report was originally created, it referenced the dll in a certain directory.

Now with changes to operating system and other updates, the dll file is located in a different folder.

How do I update the dll to match the current directory structure.

Here is the old directory structure:
C:\Program Files\Accpac\OE54A\OEINPR3.DLL

Here is the new structure:
C:\Program Files\Sage\Sage Accpac\OE56A\OEINPR3.DLL

I have searched and tried several sections in the Create New connection area but nothing seems to be successful.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

In more data sources there is

IDAPI DLL Database

Can you create a new connection, then in Set Datasource highlight your current location and then the new location then in lower window and click update.

Thanks for the reply.

If I try that I get a message pop up saying "Please wait while Windows configures Crystal Reports 11". It then disappears and 'No Items Found'

I get that too, I think you have to insert Crystal Installation Disk so that it can find relevant driver.

Thanks Ian. I'll try that.

I inserted the disk and nothing changed.
I went into setup and changed the IDAPI DLL from install when required to install on local machine.

Once back in Crystal, I can no longer find the option for IDAPI DLL.
