Update blocks from excel

Honestly I am not a programmer, but i thought that someone could point me in the right direction.

I want to be able to change a block name in excel and have it updated in autocad. For example, my drawing has blocks 10x10 and 10x20 which are linked to excel. I want to be able to change the name of the block in excel to 10x20 from 10x10 and it will change in Autocad. Is this even possible?
Any help would be great!

Yes it is possible. I have done things like that before. Here is a place that has something that might help.
