I have a machine which I have installed Win2K Prof. I need to edit the bios. I cannot figure out how to make a boot disk so I can do this. (not setup disks, BOOT disk). Please help!!
What kind of motherboard do you have? Usually the CMOS setup is entered long before Win2K, DOS or anything else even begins to load. If you mean you are flashing a new BIOS, any DOS bootable floppy with the manufacturers flash program and an image of the new BIOS will do.
Jeff
masterracker@hotmail.com

Of all the things I've lost in life, I miss my mind the most ...
Have you checked with the manufacturer's web site yet to see if they can help you out. Most computer makers will have something like that documented on their site.

Again, as MasterRacker asked, what type of motherboard is it, each one is slightly different.

Hope this helps,

Paul Kincaid
