I have a database with a separate record for each part we have. I recieve an email with an excell spredshhet that list current prices everyday. The practice has been to go to each record form and update the current price dailey. I have written code which updates each record from the spredsheet whenever its form page is reached. I would like to change the update to automatic. In other words: When I open the form, I would like to have all records automatically be updated from the new, dated spredsheet.

I believe this could be done by scanning through each record one at a time. Is there a way to tell Access to open up each form page automatically when opened?

I know this is wordy and confusing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks, Bill

Each of your record in Access has a Primary Key (I hope), right?
How about your Excell spredsheet - can you make 1 to 1 relation between your Access info and Excel?

If so, you can read Excel file one row at the time and Update Access table one record at the time, in a loop, automagically.

Have fun.
