We have some network printers trying to communicate with one particular computer on our network. That computer is at a different location and does not have these printers installed for use. It is about 5 or 6 lexmark t630 printers trying to hit this one pc with udp traffic with source port 9300 and destination ports such as 4984, 1179, 2072, 2206...all unassigned ports. Whenever this happens it hogs all our bandwidth and pretty much brings our frame to a hault. Has anyone ever seen this happen? I am not sure why this is happening. It has happened 3 times in the last week and a half and twice we had to bounce the frame router to get the traffic to stop. I'm not sure why the printers are trying to communicate to this one pc or if this is cached traffic that is trying to continuously make a connection with this pc. The pc is virus free btw.
