I really hope someone can help me as I am going a bit crazy with this one.
I am using an Access 2000 application to produce barcodes! I am using the Barfont for windows seqlib32.dll to translate the barcodes which is all working perfectly on one PC(Windows ME) & HP printer. I have since tried this on the actual PC (Windows 98) which will be running the app and printing to xerox printer which is where I run into problems. It all translates correctly but it contains the space character at the end which is an unattractive big black box. This appears on both PC'S but it actualy only prints out on the xerox machine.
If for example I create a text box on an access report and set the font to UPC/EAN 300dpi LJ3 and the controlsource to =" " the example appears with a series of big black boxes i.e. the spaces. Why are these black boxes appearing in the printed copy from one printer and not the other?
I dont want this box to appear and it is quite obvious the problem is a set-up issue with either the font or printer but how do I stop it printing????
Any ideas would be truely appreciated!
Thanks
