Unzip encrypted file

I am receiving files from an external source which are zipped and encrypted. Is there a way to unzip them in unix? I tried unzip, but it said encrypted files are not supported.

Can you decrypt the file and then unzip them ?

And ask the sender what they used to zip them up.
