Hi. Can anyone offer some helpful information on why a white screen appears brielfy in internet explorer when navigating from a page containing Flash content to another page? As an example, the first page contains a group of products and some Flash content. When a product is selected, the user is brought to the second page. Prior to the second page appearing though and right after clicking the product link, an unwanted white screen is displayed in the browser and eventually the second page appears. When the Flash content is removed from the pages, the white screen no longer appears between the two pages. Instead the first page remains on the screen until the second page is ready to be displayed. Any help or information regarding this behavior would be much appreciated.

I can tell you i know exactly what you are saying but dont know how to fix it! I will be following up on this one. With my cable internet i can not tell but on slower connections i will be staring at it longer than i want to....

The only time I've had that is when I've had a blank keyframe on a layer somewhere, that I hadn't noticed; it flashes white briefly as it displays it.

Not sure if this is the same as your problem, but it might be worth looking for!

try this link, if you have a dial up or something it should give that same effect....
, but i just have to add a preloader so that you cant see each layer load. but untill it is loaded you can see the white square that it is supposed to be in and VWONG i believe is having the same prob....

Natedeia,

I do see a large white square before the main movie loads. It looks very similar to what I described above; where there is a blank keyframe on one of the layers, at the begining of the timeline somewhere (prob. frame 1), and this is displayed prior to the movie playing.

If you can't get it sorted send me the fla and I'll have a look (petitpal@yahoo.com).
