Unwanted spaces between fields in a report

Hi

I'm trying to output fields in a report (actually a sub-report). I've used the =[Cus_First_Name]&" "&[Cus_Last_Name] method but it has still left several unwanted spaces. Oddly enough, I've output similar information in the super report (the main part of the report) without any problems.

Can anyone help me?

=trim([Cus_First_Name])&" "&trim([Cus_Last_Name])
