I've got a rewrite rule that rewrites http to https. Some of the references on the site refer to http. When these are hit, the user is prompted that he/she is leaving a secure area. Then another that says he/she is entering a secure area.

I thought that the rewrite takes care of the translation before authentication/authorization takes place.

How to keep user from having to acknowlege that he wants to continue to a secure or non-secure area?
