unwanted returns

Hi I have a report based on a query, The query givesc me the mum dad and the kids. What is happening is, for every kids record that is being returned I also get the parents record. Can I get the report to only send me the parents details with the first child, and leave them blank for any subsequent child?

A bit confused, do you mean a child from the same family?

Check the Hide Duplicates property under the Format tab. If that doesn't work can you give more details
