I have a main report w/ added report footers. In footer b I have 2 subreports side-by-side, and they pull from the same datasource - an excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet has multiple acct numbers, acct names, project ids, project names, and ending balances.
In the subreports themselves I am using a group and then formulas in the group footer to display the projects associated with only 1 of the acct numbers. Everything is working fine, except that the last record of one of the other accts is showing up at the top of the resulting list. The project name appears, but the amt is $0.00. I've tried changing the grouping and formulas, but I can't get that record to stop showing up. Any ideas?

We would have to know more about the subreport. What field are you grouping on? How are limiting the subreport to one account number? Why not limit it in the selection formula of the sub? I think you should show the content of the formulas you are using, too.

Are the subs linked to the main report? On what field?

If you can't find a better fix, you could always add a suppression formula to the section, if it has some unique feature. ($0.00 might be a suitable feature, but also perhaps not.)

To conditionally suppress a section, right-click on the section and choose Section Expert. Choose the formula icon (x+2 and a pencil) for suppression. Enter a formula; e.g.
Code:
isnull({your.field})
This suppresses the section when there is no data.
