When I hit the touch "A" on my keyboard (as in letter A), the letter does appear, but then it is as if I had hit "Page down" touch as well. Cursor moves one page down. Very annoying when typing an email (it goes down into the message below my text).

It does it not only in word, outlook, but also mfirefox. It sounds like a keyboard shortcut problem... With notepad, I do not have the problem

Anyone has a clue what is going on?

It started randomly yesterday...

Notepad does not have page numbering. Solution: Try another Keyboard

It still does the "page down" when hitting "A".

When I right-click on the desktop icon, click properties, then "shortcut tab", In the field "shortcut key" : all letter keys show CTRL + ALT + LETTER (exemple : hitting Q gives CTRL + ALT + Q)... except for the letter A which gives : CTRL + ALT + PAGE DOWN. I think this is my problem?

Do you know how to delete/modify this shortcut? Windows XP help did not help.

Thanks!!

Sandra
