Hello,my modem auto answers an incoming telephone call when my pc is switched on,playing games or whatever.I have a modem on the motherboard which is turned off in bios and also a modem fitted internally (56k flex us robotics)which works fine except for the above problem any suggestions gratefully recieved thanks in anticipation bob.

Talk to it and tell it not to auto answer.
ATI4 should let you see the setups and ATS0=0 should turn it off. And write it to the memory so the next bootup doesn't bring it back.
