Unwanted Legato alerts

Hi,
I have recently installed oracle8i on one of our boxes.
For some reason the machine keeps displaying the following info.
How can I turn this off !!

Looks like Legato was installed by default. If you're sure you don't need it, you can get rid of it by looking at the packages using pkginfo. Amongst other packages you should see something like:

application ORCLclnt LSM (Backup/Recover) Client
system ORCLdrvr LSM (Backup/Recover) Device Drivers
application ORCLman LSM (Backup/Recover) Man
application ORCLnode LSM (Backup/Recover) Storage Node
application ORCLserv LSM (Backup/Recover) Server

Then just use pkgrm to remove them.
