Whenever I send an email with an attachment I inadvertantly also send along 3 .gif files. The unwanted .gif's don't get sent unless I send an attachment and I am in HTML format. From time to time I need to be in HTML format and of course wish not to send the unwanted .gifs.

I've ruled out a virus as our company is very militant about virus protection. An enterprise wide nightly virus scan and hasn't found anything. Also, I tried reinstalling Outlook nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you create a signature file at some point (perhaps with a company logo or something?)

A signature file was created however it was very basic text, no stationary or logo.
