I have a link on my site that users can click to open up a Word document that I have stored on my server. I was told that when they click the link, they get a dialog box asking for a username & password. If they click cancel, they can view the document. How can I prevent this dialog box from popping up? Thanks.

Do you have a file named .htaccess in the directory with the word file?
