Hello, I have been through about 500 strings so I hope that this question hasn't been asked, at least for a while.

Does anyone know how to fortify, so to speak, your favorites list so that bookmarks cannot be added without your approval? At least once a week I see a new bookmark or folder (which I know is IE) but I am hoping there is a way to keep undesirables out of my precious list.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, but I was thinking something more along the lines of something I could do within IE, preferably for free. I don't paticularily need to hide anything, I would just like to keep sites I visit from automatically inserting bookmarks that I will never use.
