Unusually loud paging, MICS 6.1 1

Had a MICS 6.1 installed for over a year and it started having overly loud and 'tinny' paging. No programming loss to the system at all. Just looking for some suggestions to try.

I would try a reboot on the system. I have run into this problem once befor on an 8x24 and the reboot fixed that problem. If you do the reboot you might want to do a backup first.

I have found that on a power failure that the BGM and PA volumes return to default and each user has to re-adjust them. I am not sure if that is what you are experienceing though.

I agree with silver987. Try the reboot and if all else fails call in a phone tech.
