I am using Crystal 10 and Crystal Enterprise 10 to report from an Oracle 10g database.
The report accepts a variable number of input parameters to sort the records returned by an oracle proc.
When I attempt to run from Crystal Enterprise, the report is not sorted when the report is formated as an Excel spreadsheet. When I format the report as a Cystal report, the report is sorted correctly.
When I preview the report from Crystal designer, the sort is fine. I can also export from the Cystal designer to Excel with no issues.
I have tested this a number of times using the same input parameters for each of the scenarios I have mentioned with the exact same results. There are 7 possible input parameters to choose from for the sort and each possible parameter fails to sort when I format the report from Crystal Enterprise as an Excel spreadsheet while sorting properly as a report file.
Has any one seen this before?
If so, how can I solve this?
