Unusual Problem Trying to Link Tables

Using Crystal 9 and a SQL database. There's no problem using one table and returning data from that table. However, when you add another table in the Database Expert and click the Link tab Crystal Reports closes. I've never seen this happen before and am puzzled as to why it's happening.

I have never seen that before either. I suspect something is corrupted. Either CR or the ODBC driver.
