Anyone heard of this problem recently?
Outlook Express 6 (Windows XP) is opened, new email is composed (this is with a dialup connection that is OFFline - not connected to the internet). When the Send button is hit, the email immediately disappears as if it has been sent (regardless of the size of the email or the attachment). It can then be found in the Sent folder, even though it has not actually been sent.
The next time the computer gets connected to the internet, Outlook Express then goes through the process of actually sending the email (even though it was not waiting in the Outbox).
Here's the weird thing - today I had TWO people (that don't know each other) email me with these identical symptoms. It's like something just happened to start causing this. Both of them use OE6 with Windows XP Home, and both use AVG Free Edition antivirus.
Any ideas appreciated.
