I have a lady friend who has 5 PCs in her office connected through a router, all work fine and everyone can go weherever they please on the internet with one noticable exception:
All PCs can connect to a remote URL but hers. Hers gives a DNS error. I reviewed all the settings in TCP/IP and Internet Options on both her's and a coworkers and can find nothing amiss. Does anyone know where else to look or what else can be blocking the site? The site is work related and requires a userid/password. I tried the same info on all the PCs but hers is the only problem. Many thanks in advance!

I'll call her and see how this works. Many thanks either way as I have added it to my bag of tricks.

Post again if there are still issues.

But don't leave home without the WinsockFix in your toolkit.

Well, We finally tried again lat night and the error is still there.

Synopsis: Network works fine, we could get to any site and her specific site without issue. We could log in and I could navigate with menus but any time I tried to access an HTM page from the site it said DNS error!?! I tried it here at my home and I get the same error:
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
Could it be a script on the other side looking for specific IP addresses or ranges?
Perplexing since the other systems in her office are working fine.

Thanks again for the assistance.
