Unusual IE 6.0 Error

I'm using IE 6.0 and I'm running on Windows XP.
Here's the problem:

Any web page that I visit, if I right click on a file then hit "Save As" , I can save that image (regardless of the file extention of the image). However, if I attempt to right click, then "Save As" for another image on that same web page, I receive this error:

The system cannot find the file specified.

Regardless of what page I visit, I can always save the first image via "Save As" on my harddrive but every consecutive image on that same page I get the same error:

The system cannot find the file specified.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm intrigued by this problem...

The following should not be taken too seriously, but is a "possible" explanation of your problem..The links are included only to show how search proceeded..Fixes look okay though..I assume you have tried all normal means of repair..

Possible fixes

How can I register/unregister OCXs using the Windows Explorer Right Click Context Menu
Download the " RegUnRegOCXs" reg file to your computer. Doubleclick it to install it in the registry.
is the RegUnRegOCXs .reg file (download)
is the webpage with descriptions..
or
Visual Basic, Version 6.0, ActiveX Control Upgrade Utility
or
Have you got a "burned copy" of XP
