Unusual error message

'Transgressed node found during compaction.'
Anyone got any idea what on earth this is?
Fox 2.6a dos, using a general input screen I have used millions of times and had no problems. It crashed my whole PC.
Only happend once so far, but I'd love to know where it came form.
