Hi Guys,

In order to update my report for software usage , TN within the system not using will be clear on the system.
In overlay 20 / LUVU / either type 2004P2 or 1140 ptints out these infos:

.............................................
.............................................
TYPE 1140 TN XXX X XX XX VIRTUAL 8D VCE, for example . Testing the status on this TN, it replies the info like TN does not exist ;

Same for
ld 20
req : luu
type : 500
TYPE 500 TN XXX X XX XX PHANTOM 4D

The idea is to deaquire all unused TN on either CS1K or AACC, within the AACC, on Phoneset and Voice Port , this TN does not exist, however all my TN for IP phones are aquired there, i wonder if this prints really related to all IP phones . Also i cannot explain the world VIRTUAL 8D VCE. Or maybe i went to the wrong overlay for the info i am looking for.

Anyone here has an idea !!

Thanks !

What exactly are yo trying to achieve? If its just to work out what IP phones are not registered for example you can do it a couple of ways. In LD 117 you can use the "prt dnip x" where x is a DN or partial DN. The way I prefer is to do a TNB and use the conversion utility to convert it to excel, then on a different sheet add a isetShow from all the sig servers and use text to columns to get the TN in its own column. After a quick bit of find and replace you can get the REG TN on the isetShow in the same format as the TNB. Then use VLOOKUP to look for the TN in the TNB in the isetShow (if its there then its registered).

If they are not registered, and your site does not make use of Virtual Office, or have helpful people who unplug their phones and keep them in their desk you could delete some sets from CS1K and AAC if they are in there.

If a set is configured in the CS1K it doesnt matter if there is a set registered or not the AACC will quite happily acquire the TN.

The LUVU basically lists any card with TN's available for that type. Now as the SUPL is configured as type virtual it could be used for trunks or sets. So say car 176-0-0 is UNEQ and you run LUVU then that card is not listed. If you now configure an 1120 on 176-0-0-0 then run LUVU it wold list out the other 31 TNs as available.

VCE - Voice
8D - is Octal Density (32 per card)
4D - Quad Density (16 per card)

Ok,

So what i am trying to achieve is to deaquire unused TN agent from AACC . Thank you for you explaination .

Thanks !

Hello,

Is there a way to see any digital sets that are not plugged in? This would be handy to see if any sets have been unplugged or not used in a long time

Option 11 and option 51c

Thank you,

Chris

try using LDIS in ld 32 (& poss ld 20) make sure you don't type disl otherwise you'll disable the loops (not cool). This will only show ports that have disabled (not all unplugged phones disable the port)

eg: LDIS 40 0 (loop & shelf) (CR)

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

Scott,

In LD 20 I can do a IDU of a single TN is there a way to IDU several TNs at the same time?

Thank you,

Chris

No, not that I no of. If your using procom u could script the idu process to do each unit
