unsuccessful load of visual age cobol

I am trying to load visual age cobol 3.0.1 for Windows NT on my machine. I have plenty of disk space, and memory. When I try to execute the setup which executes the setup.exe from the CD ROM, I get the following error:
An application error has occurred, and a log is being generated.
jrew.exe
Exception: Access violation ( some address)

Does anyone know what this means, and how I can remedy it?

Try disabling your anti-virus software and re-installing. Also, make sure NOTHING else is running during the install.
