Unspecified Error

Hello,

I am trying to figure this out. I know it is common knowledge that this problem exists, but I cannot solve it. I have a connection established to a DSN.

I used to receive the Unspecified Error randomly, but now I get it all the time when using my ISS.

Here are the things I have tried to do to correct it:

1) Change the Connection string to "dsn=mydsn;uid=;pwd=;" like the Adobe tech note says.

2) Change the settings on ISS to give the application a name in the ISS management console

Are there other options. This may drive me over the edge.

I hope since this product came out in 2004 that there is a quick fix that I just have not found yet. I have spent the last 3 hours trying to get past it and now I have to hang it up for a minute due to maintaining some modicum of sanity.

check the IIS logs....what is the error message?
what version on DW? there have been a few patches since 04 that u may need to apply....
