Unsent Message in Meridian Mail

I have a user that says everytime he logs in to meridian Mail (release 12 on a 61C)it tells him that he has one unsent message.

How can he go in and delete it? Will it delete itself after awhile? He doesn't know how it happened, usually he just goes in, listens to his messages, writes them down and then hangs up. That's all he knows how to do.

Yyou have to dial into this mailbox and select the 8* option there (maintenance). Then you will probably be notified that there's 1 unsend message. You can delete it with the 76 or send it with 79.
The user probably pressed 75 to compose a message instead of 76 to delete.
