The TLS I'm using is a Dell PowerVault132T on a Dell Poweredge1650 server. I see my tape libraries (2) in my device manager but I'm getting an "unrecognized media error" after the TLS process completes the "updating" sequence. Anyone experience this? Thanks for your input.

Hi
First check is this a certified tape library from from the link
Update Tape library and tape drive latest firmware from tape library vender site.
also update the latest SCSI controller driver
Are there any tools monitoring the tape libray hardware if yes uninstall them because they may make a conflict.
I have experince the same problem and problem get resolved after updating the firmware.
