I recently had to reinstall 2000 Server. After reinstalling, it is not recognizing the A drive. "My Computer" doesn't show the A drive at all. I left a non-system disk in the A drive while rebooting and I received the usually message "non-system disk please remove and press any key". Yet the OS still did not find it. Other strategies I tried include: disconnecting the device physically and reconnecting, and deleting the Floppy Controller and reinstalling it. If you have any suggestions please help.

Is it listed under your Device manager? Checked Cmos to see if you accidently changed something? If you right click on a file, do you have the send to floppy option and does it work?
