Hello,

I've performed a remote install of Windows Client Agent. The main server recognizes that this Agent has been pushed(It states it is already installed if I try again) and server that it have been sent to includes 'Client Agent for Windows' under the installed products in 'Server Admin'. Further, the Client Agent for Windows folder has been populated in program files.

Why then does this Agent not appear in the 'BAckup Agent Admin' of either machine? I believe this to be the source of failure when I try to perform the backup job using the Agent (the job works if run without using the Agent). Once installed are there any other steps that I may not be considering?

Regards,
Drew

Something does not make sense here. The Backup Agent Admin is the GUI for the agent, it is only present when the agent is installed. It shows the status and configuration for the agent. Also there is the CA ARCserve Universal Agent Service that gets installed as well.
