My installation of InDesign 2.0.1 has illegible palettes and the splash screen at start up is also corrupt. I am unable to do any work on it since I can't discern what I am controlling. I have installed and used, even purchased, several font problem fix softwares and still I can't use InDesign. I have an April deadline for a publication and need a solution. Can you guys help?

I believe this may be a "system font" problem.. Certain base fonts are required to enable proper palette display, and other menu text.. Try looking at your system fonts, probably TrueType fonts in your Windows font folders.. Do you have Adobe Type manager? Check to see which fonts are on or off. Have you removed any fonts from your system? I haven't been specifically helpful I guess, but I think you're missing a system (TrueType font) or two.
