can anybody help me. i have a storage harddrive that i can't get access to. my main HD is partitioned with partition magic 8 and has W'98se/fat32 and W'Xp Pro/NTFS. the second HD was set up with Xp, but after the partition, it is now unreadable. it's filesystem has been changed to a RAW system. can i change this back to a NTFS so W'Xp can read it or will it reformat the drive.

ALSO, can i change the drive from a dynamic to a basic with out loosing any info. will this help Xp be able to read the drive?

PLEASE HELP ANYBODY. As a novice this is one hell of a crash course in computors....

you will loose all data going from dynamic to basic. Don't know what happened, and don't know how to get your data back. Might be able to with a program like ontrack data recovery.
