Hi

We have a web survey up and running, with 6 dropdown boxes representing a rank for 6 importance factors:

Reliability
Responsiveness
Value for Money
Access
Understanding
Assurance

What we want is for our customer to RANK each aspect from 1-6, so that if they put a 6 for reliability and there is already a 6 for value for money, then value for money will move up to 5, and if they put 1 for access, and assurance is already 1, then assurance will drop down to 2

Can this be done in HTML? I am competent in HTML only, but i can figure things out in a few other more complex languages

cheers

This cannot be done with HTML alone, no. You will have to use some sort of scripting language - either client-side (JavaScript - forum216, etc) or server-side (submitting the form each time, and delivering different data back).

Hope this helps,
Dan
