I connect a monitor and keyboard to a Sun machine (wint SunOs 5.7 or any other rev of OS), and boot the system up.

Then, if I unplug the monitor and keyboard , the machine comes to the "ok" or "stop" prompt.

Is there a command which can be used, so that I can safely unplug the keybard and monitor without affecting the system.

Thanks

Disable the keyboard , then you should be able to remove the keyboard and monitor
# kbd -a disable
