UnPatching BCM 400

I have been trying to add the voicemail patch to my BCM 400 and it hangs at the verifing update files prompt. The files have been transfered to the BCM, so it says, but I can not apply them. Where do these files go to when you transfer them? Can you remove them?

I am patching on the LAN 1 port. Do you know where the files go when you transfer them? I think they may have been corrupted along the way and now want to remove them or some how force the BCM to reload the files.
 
So I went in via PuTTY and deleted that folder and to try and make the BCM send the updates again, but it did not work. Are those files resident anywhere else? I'm stumped.
 
Yes, I have checked to ensure that the patch has not already been applied. I know sometimes the update process doesn't finish properly, but the patch does get applied. I think I will need to open a case with Nortel.
