Unpack using LAE as security source

I know that Cognos does not support unpacking in Deployment Manager using LAE but is there a workaround short of using Directory Server? My only real option is LAE.

Thanks for your reply. I am trying to unpack via the command line option and am receiving the error "cannot connect to the Directory Server". Is there an option in either the Deployment GUI or command line to use an LAE rather than the Directory Server?

The runtime configuration must be run and set to look at the lae file. This must be done on any server that you are using as part of this architecture.
