Hi,

when using the crviewer i notice it probably makes some locking with certain tables i access.

even if i destroy or close toe crviewer object, i still cant delete my tables. i need to quit my development environment to be able to delete the files.

i closed all tables in my datasessions aswell. but no luck.

does anyone have an idea how i can force the crviewer to give free (unlock) my tables used for generating the preview??

thanks.

Very little information supplied.

What viewer?

Connectivity may be an issue too.

If you're using SP's, you may have to tell the SP to do a dirty read, but it shouldn't be locking rows.

One way to ensure this at the database level is to only give the user used by the reports read only access.
