Unlock HP6315

Hi all,

I have just bought a (T-Mobile) HP Ipaq 6315, but I now need to get it unlocked so I can use a none T-Mobile sim card. I have seen some sites were you can provide them with your IMEI code and they will give you the unlock code. But I dont trust these sites enough to give them my credit card details.

Could anyone give me some information on how to unlock the phone?

We had to do this for work, and we just called T-Mobile to have them unlock it.

We were doing a service change from T-Mobile to Cingular Wireless.

I think they are required to do this due to the Number Portability laws, but I might be mistaken.

I am not a T-Mobile customer though... I bought the phone second hand because a 'source' I have told me that they would be able to unlock it... now it turns out that person cant.

Dont suppose you know of a different way to get the phone unlocked then calling t-mobile? Or know anyone that is a t-mobile customer that might be willing to get the unlock code if I provide the IMEI code.
