I have an Access table imported(linked) to Excel where I can Refresh Data to update the data. But at month-end, I need to SaveAs the file with the data not capabable of changing when we start updating the Access table for the next month. Data is YTD to in Access.

Is there an easy want to turn off the ability to refresh data in one spreadsheet, but not in the Working file.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Copy the entire QueryTable.

Edit > Paste Special -- VALUES to a different sheet.

BTW, I do this quite often, paste special, in a sheet I name Hist. I also add a column for the snapshot date.
