I know the purpose of PRIVACY_FLAGS, but what to these options mean and where can I see a total list of options?:

What does FEATURE(`compat_check') offer us that FEATURE(`access_db') does not?

PRIVACY_FLAGS is in the man page ...

authwarning (Put X-Authentication-Warning: headers in messages)
goaway (Disallow essentially all SMTP status queries)
needexpnhelo (Insist on HELO or EHLO command before EXPN)
needmailhelo (Insist on HELO or EHLO command before MAIL)
needvrfyhelo (Insist on HELO or EHLO command before VRFY)
noetrn (DISABLE ETRN entirely)
noexpn (DISABLE EXPN entirely)
noreceipts (Prevent Return Receipts)
novrfy (Disallow VRFY entirely)
public (Allow Open Access)
restrictqrun (Restrict -q command line flag)
restrictmailq (Restrict mailq command)

i don't know anything about QUIET_FREEWARE ... unless you have additional modules ...

I have discovered that QUIET_FREEWARE is used for check_local and has to do with turning off a header field in the X-Spam Filter.

Still looking for information on:
What does FEATURE(`compat_check') offer us that FEATURE(`access_db') does not?

Lastly, does anyone know the purpose of the site.config.m4 file in /../../devtools/Site/?
