Hi, I just received an old Cyrix processor and I have no idea how to find the it speed. The only stuff written on it is Copyrights USA 1995 Cyrix IBM9314 P45018 50H6281 PQ. Thanx for your help.

I don't know, I'm not a hardware freak... How could I verify that? And how can I find the speed of the processor? Thanx

Hi I Found this info about a 486. It sounds like the information you've given about the processor is the information on the front of it. Is there any other writing on the other side?? I know you said that the only stuff written on it is in your post, but maybe you missed it.

At a guess I would say your processor runs between 100Mhz - 120Mhz

Code:
"I also have a cpu IBM 486 DX4 100 with this code on the front:

IBM 26 486-4V3100GIC

and this codes on the [b]back:[/b]

Copyright USA 1993 CYRIX
IBM9314 P35000
50H5383 PQ"

I hope that helps you out.

yes thanx, there was some writing under the radiator, it says IBM 5x86C. I believe it speed is 100Mhz.
