Unknown Message type Error when using VNC

Hi,

I am using VNC viewer 4 to connect to a MAC machine. I see a black screen once I give the password and it appears to be connection. But very soon I get a error message "Unknown Message Type" error.

Any idea why this might be happening ? Pls. help.
